Focus focus...

If you say I did nothing at all for the past few days where I had my life for free finally..its not true. But if you ask me if I feel like I had accomplished anything, not really. There is things I want to do, and now realized, they are in so many direction. I want to focus yet things and inspirations pulls me apart. Sigh.

I feel like I have been rambling a lot these days.. haha.

Anyways, a lifedrawing painting..that is...okeeeey. Better then my first so, (this is second ever..O,,O) I mean those 4 hours sit down sessions with acrylics. There is so much more to learn and I am hyped up for it!!Especially seeing actually how ugly this looks looked better then you know..I paint what I see, or at least that's what I thought, but that is not all I need=D There is sooo much more to learn!! I need to think more..maybe I will paint slower next time.........>..>..Ohoh and Sheridan's saturday life paintings must gooo +___+

If I want to study light maybe I should stick with more...well..less impressionistic colors(not that this is..) but tone it down a bit? hm...maybe black and white next time. (But I love colors soo much.D:!)

First things first. Lets try sleeping at 11 and waking up at 7 no?;D
Gotta study drawing..and work on my book illustration commission. and I also want to try to think of a film idea..which I can never do..!!Gah!!!!

ITALY 2011!

...In caps because if I was posting it right after the trip
I would have been that excited.XD
Still excited now, but atm kinda sleepy hehe.

Anyways, here you go.
I shall just leave you now with these ugly yellow scans of my journal for the epic 2011 summer=) Selection of those pages that is wold be bearable.

PS: And I am glad you cant read my writing=)

I think it's not my screen anymore..or my mom's screen
The scanner is actually pretty screwed up. D;
(I did...pop its lid accidentally today)
Need new scanner actually do for work etc.o.o
(though the dark pages scan okey..)

Here are some pages from my watercolor moleskin,
which I finished with...a third of it for italy!>..>
But anyway I really like the moleskin watercolors..shall keep on invest in them until I discover another suitable one with a better price. Sigh

Mostly done with Gouache or Watercolor, or mix
Some are unfortunately unfinished, but I think I will leave them.
If you are ever in Italy for a short period of time, you will understand,
how much you want to finish a painting of a beautiful sight to the best of your abilities, yet you couldn't because there is just so much more you want to capture. You don't want to lose a second at this place.

PS:Last one above is the only painting I had done in Venice sadly.

Oversized paintings/ ink work...there was really no point in bring sheets that big. Not use to working that big anymore, haha. Not for quicker location works..sigh. Only if I had more time, I wouldn't even have to resort to ink for the last one. (Literally done on the day before we had to leave Florence) T^T Only if I lived in Italy of course..sigh

A little part of Italy

Long story short..this is only a small segment of resulting work from this awesome Italy trip we had for the summer. Yes, I am spoiling it for those of you who is going to see this in our presentations..Orz..Yes, its part of our course's final assignment. To anything we want and this is what I choose to do.

I would post you my whole proposal, but that would be too much. Let's just say, its inspired by Sandra Tomboloni and the awesome Giorgio Morandi and as practices for myself.
Which really didn't turn out to be too much of practice seeing how small they are, 2x3 inches approx. So small it was..really hard to paint....

Anyhow, here are the photos that hopefully will explain themselves.

And my small crowded area. with acrylic as you see=)

You can see the table on in the first picture..and my..'sofa'.(lol, my lil bros)

now, time for me to get some proper sleep.

I shall upload more proper true italian stuff later..later
